I cannot thank Arturo enough!
In December 2016, my brother passed away suddenly. He had recently moved from the United States to Costa Rica and owned a condominium in Jaco Beach. Unfortunately, he did not have a will. He was also never married. So probate would have to be opened in Costa Rica. I took the lead on this for my six remaining siblings, all spread out in the United States. The distance and language barrier made the process seem daunting. I found Arturo through a recommendation on the U.S. Embassy website. I sent him an e-mail and he immediately responded to set up a phone consultation. He walked me through the process, and it was very clear that he had extensive knowledge of the probate process in Costa Rica. I felt totally confident in his ability to help us. Arturo is extremely professional and kind. He went out of his way to answer any questions I had, always within a few hours. And, he speaks fluent English, which is very helpful. For reasons completely unrelated to the legal process, my family decided not to continue with the probate. Arturo was very understanding. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and attention to detail. I am grateful to have found Arturo. He made a very difficult situation much easier for my family and I. Sincerely,
