Hi Arturo, just wanted to thank you for all your help over the years here in Costa Rica. It's a beautiful place but it can be problematic if the proper legal representation is not employed. I'm happy to say that you've stepped up to the plate and given me that proper legal representation. I will recommend you with confidence Thanks !

Arturo Blanco Paez is a lawyer in whom my wife and I have full confidence. My wife has known him for many years and has always known Arturo to be highly ethical, professional, and results oriented. Arturo recently assisted us with the purchase of a home in Costa Rica. During these negotiations, Arturo ensured our interests were fully protected at all times. His deep knowledge of relevant law, combined with his forceful yet polite character, allowed the deal to move forward efficiently. Arturo’s manner gave us peace-of-mind throughout the process. Contentious issues were cleared up quickly. When we had questions, Arturo was always available to answer and explain, and he could this in both Spanish and English. Arturo brought our negotiations to a successful conclusion. My wife and I strongly recommend Arturo Blanco Paez for any legal consultation and assistance needs you may have.

“Words cannot express how thankful our family is to have Arturo as our lawyer and counselor. We live in the United States and our father passed away in Costa Rica. He had assets in Costa Rica which were not entirely known to our family. There was another lawyer initially involved, along with other individuals who who were trying to hide assets from us. I reached out to Arturo via email and he responded immediately. He took action and began to “right the ship” and brought our nightmare to an end. It was a long battle and six years later we finally prevailed. Arturo never gave up the fight for our family and I am forever grateful for his help.”

In December 2016, my brother passed away suddenly. He had recently moved from the United States to Costa Rica and owned a condominium in Jaco Beach. Unfortunately, he did not have a will. He was also never married. So probate would have to be opened in Costa Rica. I took the lead on this for my six remaining siblings, all spread out in the United States. The distance and language barrier made the process seem daunting. I found Arturo through a recommendation on the U.S. Embassy website. I sent him an e-mail and he immediately responded to set up a phone consultation. He walked me through the process, and it was very clear that he had extensive knowledge of the probate process in Costa Rica. I felt totally confident in his ability to help us. Arturo is extremely professional and kind. He went out of his way to answer any questions I had, always within a few hours. And, he speaks fluent English, which is very helpful. For reasons completely unrelated to the legal process, my family decided not to continue with the probate. Arturo was very understanding. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and attention to detail. I am grateful to have found Arturo. He made a very difficult situation much easier for my family and I. Sincerely,

Above and beyond, only begins to describe how far Arturo went for me in order to save my dream property in Costa Rica. I was on the brink of being swindled out of my life’s savings but Arturo’s knowledge, understanding of the law and calm head is what got us through. I would like to thank Arturo for literally saving my dream. Arturo was there every step of the way, updates via email and phone calls never left me in any doubt that I was I was in the right hands. I will be forever grateful.
